The Kindergarten holiday workbook gently prepares for CP (age 6-7), the year when the child learns to read. On the English page: spot the letter a, clap the syllables of banana, tiger, butterfly and robot, and write their first name. On the maths page: count and write the number, put 3, 1, 5 and 2 in order, draw the right number of circles. Then a games page: colour only the 3s, find the odd one out, write the numbers from 1 to 6. Each short page, illustrated by Bibou the owl, turns revision into a ten-minute game. The Kindergarten workbook is free, printable as a PDF, with no email or registration required.
The CP holiday workbook consolidates the key learning of the year and prepares for CE1. On the English page: fill in words with ee or oa (tree, goat, bee, soap), read “a little grey cat” and draw it, write the opposite of big and day. On the maths page: additions and subtractions up to 20, number bonds such as 10 + … = 16, and the number that comes after 39, 69, 89 and 79. The games page counts fish and colours the bubbles that make 10. With Plouf in the Ocean world, it takes ten minutes a day, with answers included so you can help effortlessly. Download the CP holiday workbook for free (PDF), with direct access and no registration.
The CE1 holiday workbook keeps skills fresh and prepares for CE2. On the English page: the verb “to be” in the present tense, plurals (cats, foxes, babies, mice) and female words (king → queen, lion → lioness). On the maths page: four times-table facts, a problem about packets of sweets and telling the time. On the games page: counting in 5s, putting animals in order of size and making up a sentence with “jungle”. With Léo the lion in the Jungle, each concept is reviewed in small doses, about ten minutes a day. The CE1 holiday workbook is free and printable as a PDF, answers included.
The CE2 holiday workbook bridges the gap to CM1. On the English page: there, their or they’re, the past tense of go, see and run, and a sentence in the future: “Tomorrow, I will go on holiday.” On the maths page: 23 × 4 and 45 × 3 worked out on paper, conversions (m, kg, h, €) and a change-giving problem. On the games page: a pattern, a secret code and a word from the “moon” family. With Astro in Space, revision becomes a ten-minute mission a day. Answers included. Download the CE2 holiday workbook for free (PDF), with no registration, to approach CM1 with confidence.
The CM1 holiday workbook prepares for CM2, the last year of primary school. On the English page: the word class of each word in “The little cat sleeps”, the verb “to be” in the past tense (I was, we were), and the verb and subject in “The dinosaurs ate plants”. On the maths page: fractions (3/4 of 12, 2/3 of 9, simplify 4/8), two divisions, and the perimeter and area of a square. On the games page: a mystery number, the faces of a cube and a number between 999 and 1010. With Rex among the Dinosaurs, your child revises without pressure, ten minutes a day, answers provided. The CM1 holiday workbook is free and printable as a PDF.
The CM2 holiday workbook calmly prepares for 6e, the first year of middle school in France (age 11-12). On the English page: its or it’s, your or you’re, and the subject and verb in “The children play in the garden”. On the maths page: decimals (3.5 + 2.75, 12.4 × 10, 8 − 3.6), a proportion problem (3 pens cost €6) and the perimeter and area of a 6 cm × 4 cm rectangle. On the games page: putting decimals in order, doubling 12.5 and finding a fraction equal to 1/2. Carried by Gauvain at the Castle, the workbook reviews the essentials in ten minutes a day, answers included. Download the CM2 holiday workbook for free (PDF) and give your child a real head start.
Each workbook follows the French primary-school curriculum, from CP to CM2: the content matches the programme of the year your child has just finished, adapted into English. You will find whole numbers and decimals, subtraction and fractions, reading, spelling and grammar — always as exercises with answers, never long lessons.
The approach is the same at every level: ten minutes a day, short educational activities that feel more like a quiz than a test. No assessments, no marks — just enough to learn the times tables, keep skills ticking over and stay in touch with school over the summer. It is home tutoring, the relaxed version — and it is free.
